Want a Mezuzah for your dorm room? we'll bring it over and put it up with you.
Make Your Room a Jewish Home
A mezuzah on the doorpost turns a dorm room into a Jewish home. Inside its case is a small handwritten scroll containing the Shema — the same words Jews have fixed to their doorways for thousands of years. Chabad of Oberlin lends a mezuzah to any Jewish student who wants one, free for the school year, and we'll come by and help you put it up.

Tell us your name and how to reach you. It takes a minute.

We bring it to you
We'll get in touch to find a time that works and come to your room with everything needed.

Up it goes
We'll put it up together and say the blessing. The whole thing takes about five minutes, then it's yours for the year.
Request Your Mezuzah
Sign-ups go through your Chabad on Campus student account, the same one you use to RSVP for events. If you don't have one yet, you can make it in the same window.

What Does It Cost?
The Mezuzah is free to use for the school year, we just ask that you return it when you move out. If you've grown attached to it and want to keep it, you're welcome to buy it from us at the end of the year.
