Welcome
Chabad of Oberlin is an inclusive space for Jewish students to discover their heritage and identity. Join us for weekly Shabbat meals, holiday programs, and events and classes throughout the week — connect with fellow students and celebrate Judaism joyfully. Led by Rabbi Yisroel and Sarah Pinson, you'll find homemade cooking, deep conversations, and a genuine Jewish home during your time at Oberlin.
What We Do

Kosher lunch and dinner at Heritage Dining Hall, Grab & Go at DeCafé, and catering on request.
Classes, one-on-one study, and fascinating Torah lectures on Jewish history, thought, and mysticism.
Menorah lightings, Purim parties, music, and celebrations that bring the whole community together.

When campus is in session, join us for services and a warm Shabbat meal.
Kosher on Campus
Under the supervision of Rabbi Yisroel Pinson, students enjoy kosher lunch and dinner at the Heritage Dining Hall, Monday through Thursday, certified by Lorain Kosher. Grab & Go meals are available daily at DeCafé in the basement of Wilder Hall, and kosher catering through AVI Foodservice is available upon request.
